Rev. Dr. Michael J. Matossian


Our Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Michael J. Matossian, was born and raised in Pasadena, California.  He came to faith in Christ through the influence of his parents.

After graduating from UCLA with a B.A. degree in Economics and History, he went on to receive the M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and the M.Th. in church history from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.  He earned his Ph.D. in Theology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Pastor Matossian served churches in California, Wisconsin, and Illinois prior to coming to Emmanuel in 2009.  He and his wife, Judy, were married in 1997. Together, they delight in their only child, Matthew.

Pastor Matossian enjoys good food, listening to cello music, tennis, soccer, and Christian fellowship.



Rev. David W. Landow

Pastor Landow was born in Chicago and raised in Northern Indiana. He received a B.A. in history at Hillsdale College in Michigan. In 2009, Pastor Landow became Emmanuel’s Youth Director. In 2013, he received an M. Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and then served as pastoral intern at Emmanuel. We were delighted to call Pastor Landow as our Associate Pastor in 2014. He is married to Kathryn and they have three sons.
