Christianity Explored

Christianity Explored is a seven-week program designed to help us learn more about who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means to follow him.  Together, we’ll work our way through the Gospel of Mark, one of the books of the Bible that tells the story of Jesus.  There’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to hear what others think.  A typical evening will begin with dinner (on us!) followed by discussion in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.  We’ll be using a study guide to help get us going.  We’ll also have a short video each week to spur on the conversation.  Whether you’re only curious about what the Bible teaches and what Christians believe or you’re a new Christian, Christianity Explored is for you.

Member Celebrates 75 Years of Membership

On March 10, 2013, Jean Megonigal celebrated 75 years of faithful, communicant membership.  Jean remarked that “Jesus Always” has been her motto all along and how important it is to put Jesus first in our lives.  The church gave Jean a framed certificate to commemorate the occasion.  Her family gave her a beautiful cake with the words “Jesus Always” and it was served in Fellowship Hall following the morning worship service.
