Autumn Fantasies Concert

Come out to hear an evening of story-telling in song! It takes place November 16, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Throughout history, music and stories have often gone hand in hand. And few times seem more appropriate for gathering to tell and hear tales than Autumn, when the year wanes and chilly weather begins to set in.

This concert will feature story-telling songs in classical and folk styles from Britain, France, Germany, and America, sung by soprano Gretchen Lort. Instrumental interludes and accompaniment will be provided by pianists Jonathan Duan and Kathryn Landow, violinist Timothy Carroll, and several others!

The concert will be followed by light refreshments.

Boardwalk Chapel Band

Members of the Boardwalk Chapel Band will give a concert at Emmanuel on Tuesday, January 7, starting at 7:00 p.m. The members will also talk about the ministry of the Boardwalk Chapel located in Wildwood, New Jersey. Join us for a refreshing evening. Doors open at 6:30 a.m. so that you can talk with Boardwalk Chapel Band members.

Block Parties

Join us at Emmanuel August 14 for a Block Party. Drop in anytime from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for free food, good music, fun kids’ activities and more.

The goal of these block parties is to provide a space for neighbors to meet neighbors and to help strengthen relationships in our community. Want to help? Bring a snack or dessert to share!
