This is it! Our last block party this summer is here. Friday, September 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. we invite you to Emmanuel where we will have live music, good food, and plenty of activities for the family. It’s all free.  We hope you can join us!

Vacation Bible School

Register now for VBS at Emmanuel. It’s August 1-5 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM each day. It’s free! It’s Faith Expedition! It’s five days of digging into God’s word, singing, making crafts, and having outdoor recreation.  We welcome children ages 4 – 6th grade. Register here.

Summer Intern

We are pleased to have a summer intern this year.  Alex Sutherland grew up in the Washington D. C. suburbs and professed Christ at a young age.  He is now a third year Westminster Seminary student and is under care of the Philadelphia presbytery. Alex and his family will join us at Emmanuel this week!

Strange New World

How did the world arrive at its current, disorienting state of identity politics, and how should the church respond?  The class will discuss Carl Trueman’s new book Strange New World which is a distillation of Trueman’s larger work, The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self.

This class will touch on some of the most hot-button topics in our modern society. Hopefully, it will help us understand how we got here, how we can think and talk about these issues in a Christ-honoring way, and how we can live out our faith in a rapidly changing world.
