Come out to hear an evening of story-telling in song! It takes place November 16, starting at 7:00 p.m.
Throughout history, music and stories have often gone hand in hand. And few times seem more appropriate for gathering to tell and hear tales than Autumn, when the year wanes and chilly weather begins to set in.
This concert will feature story-telling songs in classical and folk styles from Britain, France, Germany, and America, sung by soprano Gretchen Lort. Instrumental interludes and accompaniment will be provided by pianists Jonathan Duan and Kathryn Landow, violinist Timothy Carroll, and several others!
The concert will be followed by light refreshments.
